 Along with Place Colette and Place du Théâtre, this is one of three squares which borders the Palais Royal park and the Comédie Française.
At the corner of rue de Valois and rue Saint-Honoré you can find a theatre room called « Petit Cardinal » where the French playwright Molière , playing the part of Arguan in ‘The imaginary Invalid », was gripped by a mortel illness on17 February 1673.
